Recent Events

The first team meeting was held on January 16, 2011.  Team members:  Virginia Clark, Chantelle Cudger, William Curtis, Tim Goist, Connie Grant, Valhalla McGaughey, and myself received their team assignments.  Team assignments include:  arts & craft, drama, music, sports & games, blog, mental health, medical, photography, prayer card, assembly lesson, mental health presentation for leaders, travel, and gifts.  A number of other agenda items were covered.  How wonderful that we can expand on our past experiences and create new ones to bring joy to the children of Lebanon and carry out God's plan!

Our church's short-term missions luncheon took place on January 23, 2011.  Lebanon was represented as we would like to have one team member with nursing or medical skills.  Many stopped by and expressed their interest in the Lebanon mission trip.  There are team members past and present who started with an interest a year before they actually went to the mission field.  So it's great to see that fire start!  It's also a huge blessing because a team consists of those who pray for all things related to the trip, those who send through financial support, and those who go.  Our team just got bigger!
